Did Warren Honestly Suggest Back Pay for Illegals?

The newest front runner for the Democratic Presidential nomination Elizabeth Warren is beginning to reveal more of her 2020 campaign platform and illegal immigrants couldn’t be happier. Why they are happy is almost too hard to believe but illegals have never had a greater friend than Warren. Now being touted by many as the frontrunning Democratic candidate for the 2020 election, Warren made some recent statements that left many of us shocked and stunned.

As one story covering the news reported, “illegal aliens who have worked illegally in the United States… would become eligible to receive back pay for their previous work by amending the National Labor Relations Act,” according to Warren’s plan. So according to Warren, it doesn’t matter how you arrived or what you did to get here. Did you steal identities? Did you use stolen social security numbers to get hired? It’s okay, we don’t care.

Wait – what? Who doesn’t care?

Our story doesn’t only reveal Warren’s desire to essentially erase any illegal activity or the fact that immigrants are here illegally. She takes this forgiveness one step farther and has actually stated that illegal immigrants should get back pay as well! The story citing the frontrunning Democratic candidate said:

“Ensuring employers can’t exploit undocumented workers and drive down standards for all workers: The 2002 Supreme Court case Hoffman Plastic Compounds v. NLRB held that an undocumented worker could not receive the back pay he was owed from an employer who had violated the NLRA.

That 5–4 ruling is wrong and denies millions of undocumented workers redress for illegal firings or other retaliatory conduct by an employer. The case encourages employers to hire undocumented immigrants and exploit them in numerous fields, including construction and manufacturing, which could lower wages for all workers. I will fight to amend the NLRA to end this form of exploitation and ensure that all workers are protected.”

Did you catch all of that? So the court says that if you are hired under misleading pretenses or if you are here illegally and filling a position that would and should be otherwise filled by an American citizen, you are not entitled to pay. That seems right, doesn’t it?

What if a thief broke into your home, stole cash and valuables but wasn’t caught until weeks later? The Supreme Court says, obviously, that it isn’t yours and it must be given back or restitution must be made. Warren, on the other hand, is saying, go ahead and break in and if you get cash, employment or steal employment from another, that’s okay because it’s yours to keep.

How is this not the same principle, same idea, and basically the same crime? This isn’t about the employers either, there is an entirely different problem that is being addressed there. This is about people “breaking in” to the United States then stealing from our citizens, our economy, our healthcare system, and even our peace of mind.

Yes, employers also need to be held accountable and President Trump’s immigration reform plan is addressing those issues. Some of the very same plans, in fact, that Warren opposes like the government’s E-Verify system to prevent the hiring of illegals. It may seem odd to most of us to oppose a system that attempts to govern and ensure that companies hire American and legal workers, but this is Elizabeth Warren. The woman who wants to pay illegals, not only for being here but for all the hard work and sweat they put in to make America great again!

Maybe it is somehow possible that Warren isn’t aware that illegals can’t vote? Because if this isn’t an anti-American sentiment then it must be a ploy to win voters, right? Except illegals can’t vote. The truth is we don’t know what the logic is in Elizabeth Warren’s “Empowering American Workers and Raising Wages” plan. What we do know, however, is that her ideas weaken not empower the American worker and it drives wages down not up.

We also know one more thing. She is certainly going to win the illegal immigrant vote – all zero of them.
